If you have been following this blog, then you know a few posts back I wrote a post explain reasons to John Chow why I should win one of his six passes to Blog World Expo this year. If you have not read the post I suggest you stop reading this one and go check it out now HERE! But for those who follow, you will be please to know that Mr. Chow read my entry and it apparently struck a chord within him because I am one of the six!
Yes I won, oh how the universe bends. So of course I immediately booked my hotel room and flight to ensure I had a place to stay at the event. This is the opportunity I have been waiting for. A one of its kind tradeshow/convention with all of the individuals who I borrow advice and learn so many techniques from. I will be getting a firsthand look at all new media and information that many do not have access too. But please believe I will be sharing everything I learn with you during and after the events.
Not even the horrible events from Sundays Bears/Packers game (Urlacher injured for the season during the first game) or my fantasy football tanking could knock me off of cloud 9, although not for lack of effort haha. So I have a trip to begin planning for and I am thinking of ways to maximize the productivity of my trip. I sure am glad I had these business cards made because they sure will come in handy here.
I am also trying to work out a joint promotion with another fellow blogger that I know to help advertise and promote some of you (my readers) blogs so look out for that. I will not say more until all the details are worked out but I just feel obliged to help out others the way John has helped me.
