As you know from my constant rants, I am a FIRM believer that the “Thesis” theme is the best thing to hit the internet since Google Adsense. The only problem is although the Thesis community at large is a pretty decent size, on the local sense it is few to none. When I speak of local sense, I mean my internet neighborhood (as in the sites I frequent most). So I think I may have found a solution to those who cannot quite afford the price of Thesis.
Per the “Developers Option” which I found on their site:
Developer’s Option $164
- Unlimited use of the theme on any number of sites that you own
- Access to the Client Site Option, which allows you to deploy Thesis on clients’ sites for $40/site
- You may remove the attribution link in the footer
- You may not re-sell the theme or any modification thereof
At a price point that is less than the cost of just two personal options, the developer’s option is seriously one of the best deals of all time for developers, designers, and savvy code tweakers alike.
The Plan
So what I have in mind is this. For all interested in developing a new site, I will offer the service of basic blog design and consultation within Thesis, setup your domain, and setup your hosting account all for $40. Now of course there will be an annual $10 fee to the company you purchase your domain from and a monthly $10 fee to have your site hosted but that is it. I will have your site running from concept to completion all for the price of $40. I will not be charging any extra fees for myself, just the $40 I have to pay for the Client Site Option.
If you were to develop the site on your own you would have to pay for the domain and hosting anyway. But with this option you have access to one of the best frameworks of all-time to run your site. I plan on getting into more details pretty soon but I really need to get my initial ideas out to get some feedback.

I want thesis and this may be the cheapest solution. Maybe for my next client.
