In my last post, I spoke on the importance of team work and team building. So today I happened to practice my “team building” skills and reached out to another blogger within my niche for a guest post. For those unfamiliar with the “guest post” it is pretty straight forward. A “guest” usually within the same niche (or one with some sort of expertise) writes a blog over a topic they are knowledgeable about.
This type of post usually benefits all parties involved: the webmaster, the guest, and (YOU) the reader.
- The webmaster gets outside expertise on a subject they may or may not have knowledge about.
- The guest has the opportunity to promote his work to a wider audience and create a following for his work where there once had not been.
- And for the user, well… you get to take in info that the webmaster finds important, which will probably be valuable in some shape or form to somebody out there.
So just be on the lookout for the guest posting coming soon. I thought about telling you who the “guest” would be now, but I decided to try and build up some suspense (probably won’t but worth a shot
and hold off until the actual post. If all goes well and I do not see why it would not, I may have a different guest poster every month to try and mix things up a bit and spread some more knowledge.
